This year I finally took the opportunity to take new photos in Erfurt. The result is a collection of panoramic photos taken by day and by night – with views of well-known landmarks, the city itself, and the cathedral square.
A particular focus is on the Old Town Spring Festival 2026. I photographed carousels and rides, many of them using long exposures. The movement and artificial light resulted in very vibrant images, with clear traces of light and speed.
The new photographs show Erfurt both as a vast and tranquil panorama and as a dense, vibrant, and dynamic city. Some of the new photos are now available on the website and as fine art prints. More images of Erfurt will follow.
